How do we keep our FROGBOX moving boxes so clean and shiny?

How do you keep your FROGBOX moving boxes so spick and span you asked?

The answer, in short, is by hand. We have teams of diligent box washers that tirelessly hand wash each box between uses. This attention to detail is what makes us certain you will receive a shiny clean FROGBOX for your move.

As for cleaning products, we thought you might like to know that we make a nature friendly in house solution. It’s quite simple and some of you may wish to use it for your own all-purpose cleaner.

Our earth friendly FROGBOX cleaner:

On occasion you may notice a slight vinegar scent on your FROGBOXes, fear not, this means they are CLEAN!

Moving is synonymous with cleaning. You’ve gotta scrub the old place and the new before you settle into your new pad.

We thought you may like to try your hand at a few other homemade cleaning supplies. Below are a few of my personal favourites:

Herbal Scouring Powder: (recipe from http://thenerdyfarmwife.com)

Ingredients:

Method:

Combine all ingredients together and store in a covered jar

Usage:

Sprinkle a small amount (about a tablespoon) in your sink or bathtub and scrub with a sponge. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue. For really dirty tubs add a tablespoon of Borax to the mix. (If you’ve never used this type of product on your sink or tub be sure to test on a small patch first!)

All Purpose Powder: (This can be used anywhere in the home)

Ingredients:

Method:

Combine dry ingredients. Sprinkle on surface, scrub and remove with white vinegar.

Liquid Laundry Soap: (recipe from www.queenofgreen.ca)

Ingredients:

Method:

Add 1 litre of water and soap granules to a pot. Heat until diluted. Pour into pail with 6 litres of water, borax and washing soda. Stir until dissolved. Add essential oil. Soap will gel as it cools.

Usage:

½ Cup per load

TIP: I like to add ½ cup of baking soda to the load to whiten whites.

Also, get your friends to save up laundry detergent containers, you will need them for storage and it’s nice to share!

As it’s summertime I like to BBQ a lot (A LOT!) I’m assuming you do too. So how do I keep my BBQ nice and clean?
